Kiawah Island, Ocean Course, Hole 17

The par 3 that decides major championships.

Pete and Alice Dye built the Ocean Course in 1991 along the exposed Atlantic dunes of Kiawah Island, South Carolina — a course so demanding it hosted the "War by the Shore" Ryder Cup the year it opened. The 17th sits deep in the closing stretch, a par 3 played straight into the coastal wind with thick native rough waiting for anything off line. In the final round of the 2021 PGA Championship, it was here that Phil Mickelson had to scramble to a bogey under the weight of history — moments before becoming, at 50, the oldest major champion the game has ever seen. It is a hole that has broken concentration and made legends in the same afternoon.

Your Mymo print captures the Ocean Course's 17th exactly as it stands — rendered in our signature watercolour style and personalised with the course name, hole number, date, score, and your own message. Printed on 189gsm matte stock, framed in black or unframed, ready to hang.

Not a poster. A story. The day you stood on the tee that has tested major champions — on the wall forever, never hidden in a drawer.
