Pete and Alice Dye built the Ocean Course in 1991 along the exposed Atlantic dunes of Kiawah Island, South Carolina — a course so demanding it hosted the "War by the Shore" Ryder Cup the year it opened. The 17th sits deep in the closing stretch, a par 3 played straight into the coastal wind with thick native rough waiting for anything off line. In the final round of the 2021 PGA Championship, it was here that Phil Mickelson had to scramble to a bogey under the weight of history — moments before becoming, at 50, the oldest major champion the game has ever seen. It is a hole that has broken concentration and made legends in the same afternoon.

The service and communication were excellent- many thanks. Personally, I thought there would have been more definition on the final images. I realise the two golf holes were on a parkland course but there seemed to be only a limited green palette used. I realise that I approved the proofs, but maybe expected more from the final images. All that said, I am sure the recipient will appreciate them.
